Do you think that old relic works with BF3?
My sidewinder dont work in BBC2.
Thinking of getting a new stick to be able to fly.

Haven't tried it with battlefield yet.  I did do some background research and found a bunch of people saying that in bad company 2 the game refused to save their custom joystick key bindings.  Hopefully I won't have that problem.  I'll hook it up but won't be able to properly test it until the game is actually out so I have some vehicles to play air wolf with!

Don't bother N-Dog!
That stick doesn't work with any OS newer then Win XP. No drivers exist. I know because I've tried. Pretty lame of M$ to not support it. Same goes with my old Force feed-back Wheel from M$. Never gone by any sticks or wheels from em anymore!  

Strangely enough my old analogic Thrustmaster F16 stick still works! Just need to get a USB to Gameport adapter!

Well you got me curious so I just plugged it in and it was detected straight away.  Windows 7 x64 found the drivers automatically and it's ready to rock.

It shows up under "Devices & Printers" and if I right click it I can "Game Controller Settings" which then has a "Properties" button which gets access to the config screen.  I attached a screenshot the panel.

Well guess you have a newer edition. Our Sidewinder, that looks exactly like N-Dog doesn't work. Tried it in two diffrent computers. So good for you then!

W8 a min... you have Win7 ... only tried it in Vista 64. Might be a reson to try it again in my laptop!

Edit 2: Tried it in my Win Vista x64 and lo and behold this time it was installed without a problem! Theres two possible explanations:

A) They added support for it in SP2
B) I mixed it up with the Force Feedback Wheel from M$ i.e. I'm old and stupid.

Anyhow .. yeay I had a joystick for a couple of min until my son walked by and said: Hey thats mine! Gimme or I beat you silly with it!
