Old Gents first Friendly after a few weeks of bootcamp against the newlyformed lads from the clan SLK.
Myren was our choice and it turned out to be really tough one on both sides. After an inital succesful defenseline the SLK smashed thru to grab our rearflags. after much adoo about nothing we ended with a small loss 0-54. Next round saw us play as Sweden and we had initial problems with their Anti-tank units that were deployed far up front. a long rolling battle for controll of the rearflags ended in a yet again small, but at least a win. 63-0
Lingonstigen was a rather unusual map for us that we hadnt played much. Our brave parachute forces commenced battle at a really early stage somewhat surprising the SLK. Old age & rocking wheelchairs proved superior to SLKs heli-borne assaults ending in a wh00ping 141-0 win!
Next round we tried a different tactic and diversified onto other targets. Shouldnt have done that...SLK smartly outflanked us and never gave us the opportunity to get back in the game. our loss amounted to 0-109.
